Retreats & cancellation

For retreats, your booking is confirmed once the deposit has been received. The deposit is non-refundable. Any remaining balance must be paid according to the payment terms communicated at the time of booking.

We strongly recommend contacting your insurer before booking to make sure you have both travel AND cancellation insurance that covers the full cost of your retreat.

​

If you are unable to attend the retreat for personal reasons, illness or unforeseen circumstances, payments already made are not automatically refundable. We therefore strongly recommend taking out travel and cancellation insurance when booking a retreat. Depending on your insurance policy and the reason for cancellation, your insurer may reimburse (part of) your costs.

 

Journeys with Silvia can provide proof of booking and payment when needed for an insurance claim.

Traveling to and from the retreat, flights, personal travel documents and personal insurance are the responsibility of the participant unless explicitly stated otherwise.

​

If Journeys with Silvia has to cancel the retreat, participants will be informed as soon as possible and the amount paid to Journeys with Silvia will be refunded.

 

Events, workshops & classes

Your booking is confirmed once payment has been received. Tickets are non-refundable unless otherwise stated on the booking page.

If you can no longer attend, you may contact us to ask whether your ticket can be transferred to another person.

If an event is cancelled by Journeys with Silvia, the amount paid for the event will be refunded.

Content Creation, Photography & Video

​

During events, workshops and retreats organised by Journeys with Silvia, photos and video footage may be created for content and promotional purposes, including use on our website, social media channels and other marketing materials.

By participating, you acknowledge that content may be created during the event. We always aim to respect your privacy and personal boundaries.

If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please let us know before the start of the event or retreat. We will make every reasonable effort to ensure that you are not recognisably featured in published content.

For close-up, individual or testimonial-style content where you are clearly the main subject, we may ask for your permission separately.
